Gina (they/them) is a playwright, dramaturg, performer, teaching artist, and group facilitator who tells stories about healing and self-discovery. Their theater making and community-building work is an invitation toward the connections and revolutions that are possible when we are present and vulnerable together.

 

They received a Vermont Arts Council/NEA Creation Grant to develop their play Breakfalls, which was nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and premiered at Vermont Stage. Their plays have been developed in NYC, London, and across the country, and through residencies with The Ragdale Foundation and The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts. Gina’s play Book of Esther won the Kernodle New Play Award and their play The Colony was selected for the Columbia@Roundabout New Play Reading Series,

the Appalachian Festival of Plays & Playwrights, and the 21st Century Voices: New Play Festival.

 

They practice martial arts, gardening, and mutual aid.
